"I received this as a gift. I am a pretty structured individual and wondered how big the plants would be before I would get to transplant them into my garden. I wanted to start some of the seeds in December and summer in Wisconsin doesn't arrive for a long while. So Glad I Found This I was looking for something for my good friend, whose mother just passed away. Flowers, or a plant would have been nice, but I wanted something more personal. The Year of Seeds was perfect. Her mother loved to plant and the day before she died, my friend took her outside in the garden to do some planting. My friend loved this--it's a great way to have fond memories of her mom each month she plants the seeds. I haven't seen the red box, since it was delivered to her home, but she said it was beautiful. I'm glad I added it to the purchase.
