With all of the reasons that summer gives us to celebrate, I’m always looking for delicious and easy cocktails. Mixing up individual drinks works well for an intimate gathering, but for larger parties I like to have a pre-made cocktail so that guests can help themselves and I, as the host, can enjoy the party as well.

Enter, Cherry Beer Margaritas!

Here’s what you will need:

12-ounce bottle of summer beer (Corona, Summer Ale, or Blue Moon would be great options.)
12-ounce can frozen limeade concentrate
12 ounces cherry flavored soda
12 ounces of tequila
Kosher salt (or coarse sugar) for rimming the glasses
Sliced limes and cherries for garnish

Begin by preparing your glasses. Rub the rim of each glass with lime; then dip it into kosher salt (or coarse sugar). Set aside.

In a large pitcher filled with ice, mix together the beer, limeade concentrate, soda, and tequila. Stir well to combine.

Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wedge and a cherry.
